Assam Rifles holds ‘Nature’s Beauty’ drawing contest for kids in Moreh

Moreh: Assam Rifles organised a Drawing Competition at Govajang Primary School, Moreh, Tengnoupal District, with the aim of promoting creativity, talent and constructive engagement among school children. The event provided a platform for young participants to express their ideas through art while fostering confidence, originality and a spirit of healthy competition. 

A total of 37 children took part in the competition, enthusiastically showcasing their creativity on the theme “Nature’s Beauty.” Their colourful and imaginative presentations reflected both appreciation for the environment and the ability to translate ideas into artistic expression. The programme began with a brief interaction between Assam Rifles personnel, school staff and students, creating a positive and motivating atmosphere for the children. 

The event was attended by the Village Chief, Mr Ngamkhulen Kipgen, whose presence further strengthened the bond between the community and the organisers. He appreciated the initiative and lauded the efforts to engage and inspire children through such meaningful activities. The competition concluded with interaction between Assam Rifles personnel, teachers and local residents, reinforcing goodwill, trust and cooperation. 

The initiative highlighted the importance of youth engagement and constructive activities at the grassroots level, serving as a bridge to strengthen civil-military relations and encourage positive development in the region.
