Imphal: Indian Army launched a joint operation along with columns of Assam Rifles and Manipur Police in the general area Kairang Turel Mapal in Imphal East District of Manipur, during the early morning hours of Tuesday.
During the search operation, two suspects were apprehended along with arms, ammunition, and other war-like stores. The recovery includes five weapons, two country-made weapons, a large quantity of mixed ammunition, and other miscellaneous war-like stores.
Apprehended persons and recovered stores have been handed over to Heingang police station of Imphal East district.
