AR, BSF, Manipur Police destroy illicit popy cultivation

Imphal: Acting on credible intelligence, Assam Rifles, in a joint operation with Manipur Police and the Border Security Force (BSF), destroyed 20 acres of illicit poppy cultivation in KhudaiKhullen, Chelep, Tengnoupal District March 3, 2025.

According to a press note from the PRO, IGAR (S), the coordinated effort involved extensive surveillance and ground action to destroy the illicit crops, reinforcing the region’s commitment to combat drug-related activities.
