Ankita Dutta appointed as Assam Pradesh Youth chief

Guwahati: The Indian Youth Congress (IYC) Thursday appointed Ankita Dutta as the new president of the Assam Pradesh Youth Congress (APYC).

Ankita has been appointed as the president of APYC taking into account her services for the organization, IYC president Srinivas BV said.

Thirty-three-year-old Ankita Dutta, daughter of former APCC president Late Anjan Dutta, unsuccessfully contested the last Assam Assembly election from the Amguri constituency.
