Churachandpur: The District Administration organised the Seva Jyoti Yatra across Churachandpur district today as part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026, with three yatras converging at Tuibong before proceeding to the District Panchayat Resource Centre (DPRC).
The three yatras began from Rengkai, Lamka Public Ground and Molnom and were coordinated by the respective Sub-Divisional Officers and other officials. The Seva Jyoti (Torch) was carried by vehicles leading the respective yatras.
The District Administration, led by Deputy Commissioner, Churachandpur, Shri Krishna Kumar, IAS, received the three yatras in front of the Mini-Secretariat, Tuibong and led the participants to the District Panchayat Resource Centre (DPRC), where the district-level programme was held.
The programme included a live broadcast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech, followed by the Viksit Bharat Pledge administered by Shri Krishna Kumar, IAS.
District-level officers, staff of line departments and village chiefs participated in the programme.
The Seva Jyoti Yatra was held as part of Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026, which seeks to take the achievements and initiatives associated with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public life and service to the grassroots level and connect sections of society with the resolution of “Viksit Bharat @ 2047.”
