Thoubal: The District Administration, Thoubal, successfully organized the Seva Setu Abhiyan (Go to Village) in connection with the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, 2026, at Kangyambem Nongpok Ningthou Leikol, Salungpham, commemorating 25 years of public service and office of the Hon’ble Prime Minister.
Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a landmark address today via video conferencing, marking 25 years of his continuous service as the head of a government. Speaking at the ‘Seva Jyoti’ programme at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, PM Modi reflected on his unbroken leadership journey—from taking oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001 to serving as the Prime Minister of India.
During today’s Seva Setu Abhiyan, public sought information about various government schemes and enrolled themselves in different welfare schemes to avail themselves of the benefits provided by the government. The programme facilitated beneficiary enrolment, verification, documentation, and submission of applications for various government welfare schemes.
The programme was attended by Hon’ble MLA Thokchom Radheshyam Singh, Heirok AC, Hon’ble MLA Paonam Brojen Singh, Wangjing AC, Deputy Commissioner Yumnam Robita, IAS, Thoubal, SDOs, SDCs, DLOs, officials and staff of the DC Office, Thoubal, and more than a hundred members of the public participated.
