Tengnoupal: As part of the month long nationwide campaign commemorating 25 years of public service by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, the District Administration, Tengnoupal today organized Seva Setu Abhiyan -Sarkar Aapke Dwar and Seva Jyoti Yatras as part of Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, 2026 at District Headquarters, Tengnoupal.
The programme was successfully organised with the participation of various line departments to provide information and facilitate access to government welfare schemes and public services. The programme witness a huge turn out from the general public of Tengnoupal. Around 13 departments; Education, Social Welfare, Transport, Agriculture, Health, Veterinary, Fishery, District Child Protection Unit, Co-operative Society, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, MSRLM, PWD Tengnoupal Division and Horticulture & SC opened stall to facilitate the public.
During the camp, Deputy Commissioner, Tengnoupal Saurabh Yadav, IAS and SDO Tengnoupal distributed various items to the beneficiaries..
Approximately 80 Old Age Pension card of different categories were distributed to the beneficiaries through District Social Welfare Office. Horticulture and Soil Conservation Department assisted with Green House Net to beneficiaries of Sita village and Khongkhang village. Knapsack Sprayer were distributed to beneficiaries of Saivom village and Phalbung village by District Agriculture department while, School text books were also distributed to Chilep Primary school, Phalbung Primary School and Saivom Primary school. Walnut Development Officer under Horticulture & SC has received a total of 17 applications out of this, 5 applications were served and 10 Grievances redressed.
The camp also provided a platform for citizens to interact directly with officials, seek information on various government schemes and services, complete necessary documentation, and submit applications. The initiative further aimed to identify eligible beneficiaries who may have been unable to access government schemes and services through regular channels, thereby facilitating their inclusion in various welfare programmes.
Joining the rest of the country in observance of “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, 2026” the District Administration, Tengnoupal today organised “Seva Jyoti Yatra” with the objective of taking the achievements and initiatives undertaken during the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s 25 years of Public Life and Service to the people at the grassroots levels, while connecting various sections of society with the resolution of “Viksit Bharat @ 2047”.
Under the program, “Seva Jyoti Yatra” organized at DC office and as part of “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha” the general public gathering watch the Live address by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi at DC conference Hall. Following the programme, the gathering had administered a collective pledge for Vikshit Bharat.
