Churachandpur: As part of Project ‘PRANITA’, Assam Rifles in Churachandpur District continues to facilitate comprehensive professional orientation and awareness programmes for 29 selected young women preparing for national employment opportunities. Conducted at the UNAU Skill Development Centre in Khuga, Churachandpur District, an informative awareness session was organised for these candidates to enhance their workplace preparedness, legal awareness and personal confidence prior to taking up employment.
The session was facilitated by distinguished members of the Helping Hands Foundation, including Shri Robin Hibu, IPS (1993 Batch), Special Commissioner of Police, Delhi and President of the Foundation, alongside Advocates Jyoti Zongluju of Delhi High Court and Dani Uja of Supreme Court of India. The experts provided practical guidance on legal rights, personal safety and remaining vigilant while transitioning to new environments. Complementing this, Life Coach Mrs Simrat Ahluwalia delivered focused guidance on personality development, professional etiquette and workplace conduct. Additionally, Robin Hibu interacted with the candidates through video conference to reinforce awareness regarding workplace rights and responsibilities.
Initiated in conjunction with the Marriott Hotel Group, Project ‘PRANITA’ enables 29 local women to pursue structured on-the-job training and concurrent graduation in the hospitality sector. By integrating employment opportunities with legal awareness and personal safety, Assam Rifles ensures a confident and secure professional transition for local youth.
