Churachandpur: Assam Rifles organised two youth-centric community development programmes across Churachandpur district on 24 September 2026, focusing on promoting educational advancement, modern technological literacy, and career facilitation for the local youth.
Under the aegis of the “A Day with Company Commander” initiative, a comprehensive Capsule Course on the constructive use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) was conducted at Agape High School in Sangaikot, Churachandpur district. The interactive session brought together 200 students and 20 staff members. The curriculum focused on introducing fundamental AI concepts, practical academic applications, and emerging technological tools designed to assist classroom learning across various academic streams. Through live demonstrations and practical classroom examples, participants experienced the constructive applications of AI in education, with an emphasis on encouraging curiosity, innovation, and responsible digital engagement among the younger generation.
On the same day, an Agniveer Felicitation Ceremony was hosted at the Assam Rifles unit location in Veng, Churachandpur district, to recognise local candidates who successfully cleared the recent Agniveer Recruitment Rally. As part of its continuous youth outreach and training efforts, Assam Rifles units stationed at Khuga and Veng had previously trained a total of 112 local candidates for the recruitment drive, resulting in 103 candidates successfully passing the rigorous selection process. Senior officials interacted with the qualified candidates, congratulating them on their achievement while highlighting the importance of maintaining high standards of physical fitness, focus, and personal discipline during the upcoming stages of their induction into the Armed Forces.
