Imphal East: The District Advisory Committee (DAC) Meeting of MY Bharat, Imphal East, was successfully convened under the chairmanship of Rajkumar Dayanand, Additional District Magistrate (ADM),

Imphal East on 17 July 2026, to review the progress of youth-centric initiatives and strengthen inter- departmental coordination for effective implementation of MY Bharat programmes.

During the meeting, members deliberated on strategies to enhance youth participation through greater collaboration among government departments, educational institutions, youth organisations and other stakeholders.

The Committee also took note of the successful conduct of the earlier District Samanvay Committee (DSC) Meeting, which laid the foundation for coordinated implementation of MY Bharat activities across the district. The DSC resolved to ensure active support from all line departments in mobilizing youth and facilitating programme implementation.

A key highlight of both meetings was the ongoing Intensive MY Bharat Youth Registration and Awareness Drive being conducted from 1 July to 15 August 2026. Chairing the meeting, Rajkumar Dayanand, ADM, Imphal East, urged all departments and institutions to extend full cooperation in ensuring the success of the registration drive by encouraging eligible youth to register on the MY Bharat Portal. He emphasised that the platform offers opportunities for volunteering, leadership development, community service, skill enhancement and active participation in nation-building initiatives.

The District Youth Officer, MY Bharat, Imphal East, informed the Committee that awareness and registration camps are being organised across the district in collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure wider outreach and greater youth participation.
