Kamjong: A Security Coordination meeting was held today at the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Mini-Secretariat, Kamjong District Headquarters, to review the prevailing law and order situation in the district.
Deputy Commissioner, Kamjong L.N. Kashung chaired the meeting which was attended by Superintendent of Police, Kamjong Tholu Rocky, Additional Deputy Commissioner H.L. Jain, Sub-Divisional Officers, representatives from 11 Assam Rifles, Border Security Force, 11th Indian Reserve Battalion and concerned officials among others.
The meeting deliberated on strengthening coordination among security agencies and the civil administration. Needs for enhancing timely information sharing and preparedness to respond to security challenges and maintain public safety were also discussed.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner L.N. Kashung stressed the need to strengthen the trust of the public towards District Administration and law enforcement agencies, while reaffirming commitment to maintaining peace and ensuring public safety in the district.
