Kakching: Nasha Mukt Bharat Saptah is being observed under the theme “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan – Viksit Bharat Ki Pehchaan” by different Government departments at various locations in Kakching District.
It is a coordinated nationwide campaign aimed at preventing substance abuse and promoting healthy and drug-free lifestyles. The initiative is being observed in the lead-up to the International Day against Drug Abuse & Illicit Trafficking on June 26.
Today the Kakching Municipal Council (KMC) conducted awareness campaign regarding substance abuse and benefits of drug-free society. The campaign was held at Kakching Bazaar area participated by KMC staffs.
Also, the District Youth Affairs & Sports also conducted drug-free awareness drive in the district and appealed the citizens to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
