Jan Kalyan Shivir concludes successfully in Pherzawl

Pherzawl: The three-day District-Level Jan Kalyan Shivir Campaign concluded successfully in Pherzawl today, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to delivering government services directly to the people. The campaign, which commenced on June 18, witnessed active public participation and extensive inter-departmental coordination, culminating in welfare camps at Parbung.

The final camp, held at Pherzawl Community Hall, witnessed enthusiastic participation from residents who availed themselves of a range of services, including Aadhaar enrolment and updates, health check-ups, CMHT and PM-JAY registrations, and information on various government welfare schemes.

Organised under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Anunay Anand, IAS, and supervised by ADC Zosanglur Joute, the initiative provided a single-window platform for citizens to access services, submit applications, and seek redressal of grievances.

According to official reports, the campaign recorded encouraging outcomes. On the second day, 167 people attended the camp, with 161 applications received and 101 disposed off immediately, achieving 62.7 percent grievances resolved. Official figures highlighted the campaign’s effectiveness. The final day saw an impressive turnout of 738 participants, during which 486 applications were received and 286 successfully addressed, achieving a grievance redressal rate of 58.84 per cent.

Several flagship schemes received special attention, including Atal Pension Yojana, PMJJBY, PMSBY, PM-Kisan, Kisan Credit Card, Soil Health Card, PMAY-G, PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Vishwakarma, and UDYAM registration.

The successful conclusion of the Jan Kalyan Shivir highlights the District Administration’s continued commitment to ensuring last-mile delivery of public services and ensure that welfare benefits reach every eligible citizen.
