Assam Rifles recovers war-like stores in Manipur’s Moreh town

Imphal: Troops of Assam Rifles recovered arms, ammunition and war-like stores near Elora Hotel, Moreh (Manipur).

Acting on specific intelligence of the presence of arms and ammunition in the general area of Elora Hotel in Moreh, Assam Rifles launched a search operation on 01 Mar 24  and recovered one Point 38 Pistol, 10 x Improvised Explosive Device (Country Made), three Grenades and ammunition.

The recovered arms and ammunition are being handed over to the Police, according to a press note from the PRO, IGAR(S).
