Sikkim Chief Minister visits Madhavpur–Ghed Fair in Gujarat

Gangtok: Sikkim Chief Minister PS Tamang visited Ghed Fair in Gujarat’s Madhavpur on Monday and appreciated the commemoration of the union of Lord Krishna and Rukmani, through the celebration of the cultural links between Gujrat, Western India and Arunachal Pradesh, North Eastern region.
‘The initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to unite the country through cultural exchange, promoting the spirit of Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat, is exemplary and highly commendable. Ghedfestival was a wonderful experience to witness the vibrant culture on display, which portrayed the rich traditional heritage of Gujarat and North East,” said Tamang.
