Imphal: 23 persons from the general population and 3 personnel of the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) tested Covid-19 positive in the last 24 hours leading up to 5:00 am of Tuesday. During the same period, 11 persons recovered and no death due to the pandemic was reported, as per an official release Covid-19 Common Control Room.
The recovery rate in the state stands at 98.32%.
Of the 18 persons (9 males, 9 females) from the general population, 11 of them are from Imphal West, 7 from Imphal East 1 each from Churachandpur, Thoubal, Kangpokpi, Chandel and Jiribam.
Meanwhile, Health department has instructed air passengers who travelled to the state on (i) April 10 by Indigo flight 6E– 2615 in rows 23– 29, by Indigo flight 6E-524 in rows 22-28 and (ii) on April 11 by Indigo flight 6E-172 in rows 1-5 and 6E-2251 in rows 10-16 to inform Covid Common Control Room 1800343818 or respective District Surveillance Officer (DSO).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,540 (General Population — 26,083 and Central Security Personnel — 3,457). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 29,046 (General Population — 25,609 and CAPF— 3,437). The number of active cases (after reconciliation of data with the discharge team as on April 12, 2021) is 118 (general population 102 and CAPF 16).
As per the latest information, the number of people vaccinated on April 12, is 2400 and the cumulative vaccination number is 96966, the release added.
The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 32060 include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics’.
