Colombo: Police have arrested three people in Sri Lanka in a case related to the arson attack on Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe’s private house in Colombo on Saturday night, media reports said on Sunday.

The Kollupitiya police said that further investigations were being carried out to arrest the other suspects.

They said those arrested were 19-year-old from Mount Lavinia and two residents, aged 24 and 28, Daily Mirror reported.

On Saturday, PM Wickremesinghe’s private residence on 5th Lane in Colombo was set ablaze by a group of protestors amid the unrest.
