Churachandpur: The District Election Officer/DC Churachandpur Pawan Yadav chaired a meeting of District Nodal Officers and link officers/coordinators Saturday at DC’s Conference Hall, Mini-Secretariat Complex to review election preparedness of the district ahead of the coming Manipur Legislative Assembly election.
Pertinent matters concerning the management of postal ballots, training, transportation, and materials, polling personnel, internet connectivity issues and election expenditure monitoring were discussed.
The concerned Nodal officers briefed the progress in their respective fields of assignments. At the same time, the DEO urged all concerned to join hands and ensure better coordination for the smooth and successful conduct of the election.
