Imphal: A team of Thoubal police commandos arrested one active member of banned outfit UNLF from Yairipok Lamkhai near Auto parking on Wednesday at around 11 am.
The cadre has been identified as self-styled Sergeant Khwairakpam Bijay Meitei alias Chingshuba (32 years), son of late Kh Gujiadhon Meitei of Moreh Ward No 7, presently staying at Langol Ningthou, Imphal East District.
The arrested person was handed over to Thoubal Police Station for further legal action. In this regard a case has been registered at Thoubal PS, as per a press note from the PRO, Manipur Police, W Basu.
