Churachandpur: The second day of the Final round of training for Presiding and Polling I, II, III along with male special polling stations for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and Person with Disability (PwD) polling stations in respect of 60-Singhat (ST) Assembly segments was held today at Churachandpur Government College.
The training sessions were under the supervision of S. Thienlaljoy Gangte, Nodal Officer (Training Management), Lalthanzam Fimate, Nodal Officer (Man Power) and Soiminlian Lengen Nodal Officer (Postal Ballot).
The master trainers imparted handling of EVMs, Poll Day Arrangements and Acquaintance with polling materials and EVM & VVPAT, filling up of Presiding Officer Diary, Mock Poll Certificate, completion of Statutory Forms, filling up essential forms like Voters Slip, Declaration, Forms 17-C etc. in preparation for the smooth, free, fair and transparent conduct of democratic election.
Including 6 for male special polling stations and 1 PwD, 71 polling officers attended the training session. The third day of the third Round training will continue on April 15, 2024 (Monday)
