Imphal: A team of Kakching Commando Unit, arrested two persons from Kakching Lamkhai namely, Thangminlun Mate (24 yrs) son of Doungam Mate of Moreh Chikim Village, Tengnoupal District and M. Hoineithing Haokip (38 yrs) wife of M. Jangminlen Haokip, Moreh ward No.VIII, Ngamkai Veng, Tengnoupal district at around 11.30 pm on Monday, March 21, 2022 and seized 55 soap cases containing Heroin No.4 powder weighing 1.058 kg (approx) and three bundles of WY (Metamphetamine) tablets weighing 3.366 kg (approx) which was kept concealed in a modified fuel tank of a Bolero vehicle bearing registration No.NL08-2061.
The arrested persons along with the seized articles are handed over to Kakching Police Station for taking up further necessary legal action.
