Imphal: Minister for Water Resource and Relief & Disaster Management, Awangbow Newmai today inspected the Imphal Barrage at Oinam Sawombung, Imphal West along with 22-Wangoi AC MLA, Khuraijam Loken Singh.
During the visit, the Minister checked the condition of the barrage , the water body and the projects that are to be taken up at the Imphal Barrage. The Minister appealed the locals not to dispose dust particles and waste in the river which can affect life.
The Ministerial team was accompanied by Engineers of WRD Department, and other officials of the Department.
