Chandrapur/Nagpur:A manager of Chandrapur DRC Mine-3, Western Coal Mines(WCL) on Thursday committed suicide in Maharashtra’s Chandrapur district, sources said.
The deceased identified as Dinesh Kumar Karade, manager (Pit In-charge), Durgapur, Rayatwari Colliery, No. 3 , WCL Chandrapur area.
Though the reason behind this extreme step could not be ascertained immediately, sources said the Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) of CBI Nagpur on October 2022, had caught him red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs. 5000/- from a WCL employee and since then he had been in depression .
