Senapati: In continuation of the celebration of 4 years of achievements of the government of Manipur, the District Administration of Senapati displayed a virtual viewing of state-level Programme held in Imphal Monday live telecast at the Multi-Purpose Hall, DC Complex, Senapati.
Speaking on Monday’s programme, Deputy Commissioner, Senapati, Th Kirankumar, stated that the uniqueness of the present government can be seen clearly by the close rapport it has developed with the public. He also urged the people to extend their co-operation. Later in the day, he released balloons to make the achievements of 4 years of Citizen-Centric Government at Jamning Valley, Senapati.
In the welcome address, Additional District Magistrate, Senapati, A Adahrii Maheo, stated that the government had been working hard in reaching out to various section of the society for the welfare of people. He said that the 4 year celebration on the achievement of the government of Manipur began on March 10 with cleanliness drive, tree plantation drive on March 11; awareness on village health and nutrition, COVID appropriate behaviour and COVID vaccination, war against drugs on March 12, workshops on Rozgar Diwas/ Skilling and employment on March 13, and, awareness drive on Har Ghar Nal/ handwashing/ ODF on March 14 in all the Health centres, Anganwadi centres, schools & colleges and various sub- divisional blocks.
Sub- Divisional Officer, Purul P P Ronald, in his speech highlighted various achievements and programmes of the government of Manipur taken up in the district in the last 4 years.
Tem Solar Study Lamps were distributed to the student from various schools and colleges in Monday’s function. A bike rally was also organised by Senapati district administration in collaboration with SDSA and Royal Brothers, Senapati which was flagged off by SP, Senapati, M Pradip Singh at 8:00 am from Karong Bus Parking. Later in the day, various artists from Imphal entertained the public with a musical extravaganza after the release of balloons to mark the 4 years achievement celebration.
DLO’s, various Civil Society Organisation’s, students from various school and colleges were present in the function.
