Lucknow: The 11th National Hockey championship for women would be held in Jhansi from October 21 to 31 next.
Hockey UP general secretary and Olympian Dr R P Singh said in a statement here on Monday that trials for the UP team which will participate in the nation would be held on October 1 and 2 at Vijayant Khand Stadium, Gomti Nagar in Lucknow.
He said that 25 women players would be selected in the trials who will be given special training in Lucknow from October 6 to 20. The final team would be selected in the final trials, he added.
