Kakching: Deputy Commissioner Angeline Renita R (IAS) along with Elangbam Anand Singh (MCS), ADM Kakching district today distributed power tilter and sewing machine to the Production System and Micro-Enterprises (PSME) beneficiaries under Watershed Development Component — Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (WDC-PMKSY 2.0), Kakching district at DC Office Complex, Kakching.
Meanwhile, an awareness cum Udyam registration drive under the Raising and Accelerating of MSME Performance (RAMP) scheme of Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) was held today at Thounaojam Bamol Mandap, Langmeidong C.D. Block in Kakching district. The programme was organised by District Industries Centre under the supervision of District Administration Kakching.
The programme was attended by Oinam Deben Singh, General Manager, District Industries Centre (DIC), Thoubal & Kakching District; Huidrom Bimola Devi President, Ima Panthoibi VLF, Thounaojam and Chongtham Seitabati Devi Executive Member, Ima Panthoibi VLF, Thounaojam as presidium members.
A total of around 90 (ninety) entrepreneurs participated in today’s camp. The drive will continue at Elangkhangpokpi Awang Leikai Community Hall on November 4 and Lotus Club, Hiyanglam Mayai Leikai on November 6, under Langmeidong CD Block.
Individuals engaged in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) activities who have not yet registered on the Udyam Portal have been urged to participate in the awareness-cum-Udyam registration drive.
