Imphal: Five militants were nabbed by Manipur Police and troops in three separate incidents during the last 24 hours, an official said on Friday.
Manipur Police nabbed a cadre of KYKL on Friday in Imphal West district. A case has been filed at the Patsoi Police station.
In another incident Manipur Police, Mantripukhri and Keithelmanbi Battalions launched a joint operation and nabbed three UNLF cadres on Thursday at Imphal West district.
The same team also nabbed a cadre of KCP(PWG) from Imphal East district , an Assam Rifles official said. One .32 pistol with three live rounds, two Chinese hand grenades and one extortion demand letter were recovered from the KCP(PWG) cadre.
Two Glock pistols and 40 live rounds were recovered from the UNLF insurgents.
