Union Minister inaugurates Oxygen Plant at RIMS, inspects school at Saitu

Imphal: Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs John Barla Thursday inaugurated a Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Oxygen Plant at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal in presence of Member of Parliament (MP), Rajya Sabha Sanajaoba Leishemba.

The plant was set up under the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund (PM CARES).

The Minister also inspected the ongoing construction of Model Residential School at Saitu, Kangpokpi District. The Residential School is being constructed under Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK), a Centrally Sponsored Scheme of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, with a project cost of Rs. 26.25 crore.

The Minister was also accompanied by Rajya Sabha MP Sanajaoba Leishemba during his visit at Saitu, Kangpokpi.
