Tehran: Two pilots died in an F-7 fighter jet crash in Iran’s central Isfahan province on Tuesday, the Tasnim news agency reported, citing a local official.

The F-7 aircraft was on a training mission in Anarak area of Isfahan at the time of the incident, said Mohammad Reza Jan-Nesari, deputy governor of Isfahan for political, security, and social affairs.

The aircraft belonged to the Iranian army and technical problem was the cause of the crash, he added.
