Imphal: A team of Bishnupur police commandos arrested one person and seized 260 gms of heroin No 4 along with one Honda Activa 5G without registration number from his possession on April 19 at around 2.30 pm.
The arrested person has been identified Md Arif Khan (28 years)m son of late Sanouwer of Kwakta Sepla Ward No3 from Tronglaobi Maning.
Further, from his disclosure at around 3.30 pm one woman namely, Ilima Bibi (31 years) wife of Md Abdul Hussain of Kwakta Terakhongshangbi Mamang Leikai Ward No.1 was also arrested by Bishnupur commandos along with a team of Moirang police station including women police from her residence and seized 37 gram of Heroin No.4 and 98 Nos. of SP tablets from her possession.
The arrested persons along with the seized items were handed over to Moirang PS for further legal action. In this regard, a case has been registered at Moirang police station as per a press note from the PRO, Manipur Police, W Basu.
