Tirupati: IndianOil inks MoU with SVIMS to provide medical equipment

As per the agreement, IndianOil will support SVIMS for procurement of “3 Tesla MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) equipment and “4D SC Scan” at a total cost of Rs.22 crorer.

Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh):IndianOil, as a socially responsible organization, beyond the business priorities, on Friday announced it has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with TTD-run Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) , tertiary care referral centre and an institute serving the patients of below poverty line, for provision of Medical Equipment under Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.


The agreement was signed by Mr B Anil Kumar, Executive Director & State Head, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh State, IndianOil and Dr R Ram, Medical Superintendent, SVIMS in the presence of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Executive Officer A V Dharma Reddy, IndianOil Director (Marketing) V Satish Kumar, Tirupati MP, M Gurumoorthy, and IndianOil Independent Director Dr S Dattatreya Rao.


As per the agreement, IndianOil will support SVIMS for procurement of “3 Tesla MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) equipment and “4D SC Scan” at a total cost of Rs.22 crorer.


This is to facilitate treatment to the economically weaker section of the society, which will be closely monitored by TTD and IndianOil.


The other officials who were present in the event are TTD Joint Executive Officer S Bhargavi, SVIMS Director-cum Vice Chancellor Dr B Vengamma, and from IndianOil General Manager Ajay Shrivastava , DGM Kailash Kant and Divisional Retail Sales head (Tirupati) Rohit Mohan.
