New Delhi: Gujarat Titans, the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 Champions, have launched an unique fan engagement— health and wellness initiative called ‘Race with the Titans’.
In partnership with Stepathlon, the Gujarat Titans have created a campaign to encourage the fans to get healthier and fitter and in turn be gratified for their progress. Fans can become a part of the campaign by signing up for it on the Gujarat Titans’ official App ‘Titans Fam’ – which is available on Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store.
This initiative by the Gujarat Titans is designed to strengthen bonds with the fans and make them feel more connected with the team. ‘Race with the Titans’ endeavours to improve health and fitness levels among the fans irrespective of their age, gender and location. While it is a health and well-being initiative, the Gujarat Titans have made it more engaging by adding a competitive tinge to the activities.
The interactive experience will help fans achieve their fitness milestones with engaging contests – whereby they can compete with others virtually. These contests will feature activities such as a 30-second push-up challenge, completing 10,000 steps a day for a week and sharing a picture of your workout with your friend. Through the spirit of healthy competition, Gujarat Titans aim to foster a commitment to health and wellness in the larger community.
The commencement of ’Race with the Titans’ will be announced on the official social media platforms of the Gujarat Titans. Through the campaign, the most successful participants will get rewards such as Meet and Greets with the Gujarat Titans players, match tickets, signed merchandise and a lot more.
Col Arvinder Singh, COO – Gujarat Titans, said, “Connecting with fans is the cornerstone of our approach at the Gujarat Titans. We feel a sense of responsibility to play a key role in the health and wellbeing of the ‘Titans Fam’. The ‘Race with the Titans’ initiative is a meaningful way to empower and engage with the Titans fans before, during and after the Tata IPL season.”
Executive Chairman and Founder Stepathlon, Ravi Krishnan, said, “My journey with the Tata IPL began in the inaugural year of the Tournament, and to keep playing a role through Stepathlon, delivering real value with the Gujarat Titans, is really rewarding. The Titans are proving to be innovators both on and off the pitch. We look forward to supporting their growth and relationship with their fans, sponsors and key stakeholders over the coming years.”
