Hyderabad: Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are likely at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema during the next five days, the Meteorological Centre said on Monday.
In a weather bulletin here, it said light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at many places or at a few places in Telangana, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema during the same period.
The Southwest monsoon has been normal in Telangana.
Rainfall occurred at a few places in Telangana during the last 24 hours, the bulletin added.
The bulletin said heavy rainfall occurred at one or two places over the Anantapur district of Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.
Rainfall occurred at many places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam(Puducherry) and a few places over Rayalaseema during the same period, the bulletin added.
