Moreh: Assam Rifles conducted a comprehensive mock physical and written test for aspirants preparing for the forthcoming Territorial Army Recruitment Rally at Moreh, Tengnoupal District, on 18 August 2026. The initiative aimed to assess candidate readiness, enhance confidence and familiarise candidates with the competitive standards of the actual selection process. A total of 34 local youth participated in the structured evaluation, which provided a realistic simulation covering essential physical fitness benchmarks and academic examination parameters.
This assessment forms part of a sustained mentoring drive initiated by Assam Rifles since April this year, dedicated to coaching local youth for SSC GD, Territorial Army and Agniveer Recruitment Rallies. Through continuous training, the initiative focuses on upgrading physical endurance, academic proficiency, examination readiness and mental resilience under selection-oriented conditions.
Upon completing the evaluation, candidates received performance-based guidance and individual feedback to identify shortcomings, refine their preparation strategy and cultivate time management skills. Assam Rifles encouraged all aspirants to approach the upcoming recruitment with determination and a positive spirit, reaffirming its commitment to guiding region youth towards fulfilling careers in the Armed Forces.
