Imphal: Manipur saw the best day till date Thursday as far as the Covid-19 pandemic is concerned. There were no reports of any deaths, just 2 positive cases and 10 recoveries. as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room.
The 2 persons (1 male 1 female) from the general population who tested positive in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Thursday are from Imphal West and Kakching. Meanwhile, 10 persons, 9 from Home Isolation and 1 from Rims recovered and were discharged.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,225 (General Population — 25,769 and Central Security Personnel — 3,432). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,769 (General Population — 25, 352 and CAPF— 3,417 ). The number of active cases is 83 (general population 72 and CAPF 11). The recovery rate is 98.43%.

Total number of those vaccinated Saturday is 3082 and the cumulative vaccination number is 35783.
The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 27587 include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs 78 persons were given Covid-19 vaccine on Sunday and that the cumulative no of people vac, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics’.
There is no severe reaction/allergies, adverse event following immunization (AEFI) to date. There were 46 mild reactions who were on home care and all of them are now fully recovered, the release added.
