Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 2 pm of Sunday Manipur reported one Covid related death, 10 new positive cases and 29 recoveries, as per an official release from the Health Department.
The lone person who expired is from Imphal West, he had no co-morbidities and was vaccinated with the firs dose. The cumulative death toll in the state now stands at 2115
Of the 10persons from the general population who tested positive, four each are from Imphal East, three from Imphal west nand one each from Bishnupur, Kangpokpi and Thoubal. Altogether 946 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 1.1
Meanwhile, 29 persons recovered and were discharged, 23 of them from home isolation and three each from CCCs and RIMS.
The recovery rate of the state stands at 98.27 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 36, 898 out of which 1, 34, 535 have recovered leaving 248 active cases.
The total number of doses administered on March 5, 2022, is 2,022, the cumulative number of doses administered is 27,29,025 (1st dose 15,16, 617, 2nd dose 11,51, 266) and precautionary dose 61,142.
