State Museum, Archives, Library, Boat, Kangla other closed from today

The notifications come in the wake of the surging second wave of coronavirus in the country as well as in the state.

Imphal: INA, Martyr’s Memorial, Manipur State Museum,  Manipur State Archives, State Central Library, Bhagyachandra Open Air Theatre (BOAT), Maharaj Chandrakirti Auditorium Manipur State Art Gallery, Palace Auditorium and Kangla will remain closed to the public from April 20, 2021 said a notification issued by the  Commissioner (Art & Culture) Govt of Manipur, M Joy Singh on April 19.

The notifications come in the wake of the surging second wave of coronavirus in the country as well as in the state.

Any person or persons who want to enter Kangla for religious or ritualistic purposes should seek permission from the competent authority seven days in advance. Also, Kangla will remain open for morning and evening walk, the notification added.
