Six candidates to contest in No. 1 Inner Manipur Parliamentary constituency

With this, a total of six candidates will contest for the seat of No. 1-Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency in the upcoming 18th Lok Sabha election, which is scheduled to take place on 19th April, 2024.

Imphal: No candidates have filed for withdrawal till 03:00 p.m. of Saturday at the Office of the Returning Officer, No. 1-Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency, Lamphelpat. 

With this, a total of six candidates will contest for the seat of No. 1-Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency in the upcoming 18th Lok Sabha election, which is scheduled to take place on 19th April, 2024. 

The list of contesting candidates for the upcoming 18th Lok Sabha Election are – Dr. Angomcha Bimol Akoijam (Indian National Congress) with the allotted election symbol ‘Hand’; Thounaojam Basanta Kumar Singh (Bharatiya Janata Party) with the allotted election symbol ‘Lotus’; Maheshwar Thounaojam (Republican Party of India – Athawale) with the allotted election symbol ‘Pen nib with seven rays’; Moirangthem Totomshana Nongshaba (Independent) with the allotted election symbol ‘Coat’; Rajkumar Somendro Singh @ Kaiku (Independent) with the allotted election symbol ‘Ship’ and Haorungbam Sarat Singh (Independent) with the allotted election symbol ‘Football Player’.
