Imphal: Shamim Ahmed Shah i/c Deputy Commissioner, Imphal East has, in view of the surge in COVID- 19 cases in the state particularly within the revenue district of Imphal East and with reference to the State Govt order declaring Greater Imphal area as a containment zone, issued the following regulation of Shops and markets In Imphal East District with immediate effect.
Shops located at Matta, Tribal Market in New Lambulane, Lamtorg, Konung Mamang, Andro parking, Khongnang Ani Karak, Sangakpham, Kongba, Yaingangookoi, Lamlai, Yairipok Azad turning, Laimanal Thong Makhong, Sawomtung bazar, Koirengel, Pangei and Mantripukhri to be opened on rotation at the rate of one in three shops with immediate effect. For example, Shop Nos. 1,4,7 etc are to be opened on Day 1 and Shop Nos. 2,5,8 etc on the Day 2 and shop Nos. 3,6,9 etc on Day 3;
The number of vendors along the stretch of Matta, Lamiong, Andro Parking, Dingku Road, Konung Mamang is restricted to one-third of the maximum capacity of the market/bazaar concerned with due observance of COVID appropriate behaviour.
This order which takes immediate effect will remain in force until further orders.
