Churachandpur: As part of Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan-second week focusing on Jal Evam Swachhata Sewa under Vision 2030 – Adi Sewa Kendra, Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan “Apka Haq, Apke Gaon Mein”, awareness and service delivery camps were conducted today across Tuibong and Lamka TD Blocks under the aegis of District Administration, Churachandpur.
The camps were organized under the supervision of Jangminlen Lupho, SDO/BDO, Tuibong TD Block and S Thienlaljoy Gangte, SDO/BDO, Lamka TD Block of Churachandpur District, with active convergence of line departments.
At Monghoiphai in Tuibong TD Block, the camp covered all 9 Adi Sewa Kendras – Lajangphai, Monghoipai, Leisang, Kaprang, K. Salbung, Kholmun, S. Bualjang, Gamnom and Khochijang, encompassing 16 villages with a total citizen footfall of 109. Services were facilitated for 101 beneficiaries and 3 grievances were resolved on the spot. Health & Family Welfare Department conducted Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) screening for 81 persons and sensitized villagers on dengue prevention, PHED conducted awareness on water & sanitation, and ADC sensitized on availing government education facilities.
For Lamka TD Block, the camp at Chiengkonpang focused on activities under Water Sanitation, Swasthya Evam Poshan Sewa. Work demand forms under Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission(Gramin)(VB-G RAM-G) were facilitated, PHED resolved cases of irregular water supply and pipe leakage and provided new pipe water connections, while Health & Family Welfare conducted Sugar & BP screening and health talk on water sanitation with hand wash demonstration.
The camps were attended by officials and staff of Health & Family Welfare Department, PHED, Autonomous District Council and Rural Development Department along with villagers from across Tuibong and Lamka Blocks.
