Kohima: Security Forces in a joint operation with Police apprehended one illegal arms peddler in general area of Sampurre Junction in Kiphire District of Nagaland on Tuesday (30 March) last.
According to a release issued by Lt Col Sumit Kumar Sharma, PRO (Defence), Friday informed that based on a specific input, security forces in a joint operation with State Police apprehended one illegal arms peddler and recovered one point 22 pistols with magazine, 10 rounds of point 22 ammunition and one Ecco Van near Sampurre Junction in Kiphire District of Nagaland.
The apprehended individual along with recoveries has been handed over to Kiphire Police Station, Kiphire for further investigation, the release said.
