SBI Foundation donates ambulance to CM’s Covid-19 Relief Fund

Chief Minister N. Biren Singh expressed his thankfulness and sincere gratitude to the SBI Foundation and also to those organizations and individuals who had extended support in this crucial hour of fighting the pandemic.

Imphal: SBI Foundation Wednesday donated one ambulance (Tata make: Magic Express 6+P Type–B) to the Chief Minister’s COVID-19 Relief Fund as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility and facilitate the Government’s effort to fight the pandemic.

The Foundation had also decided to extend support with medical equipments worth over Rs 1 crore to the State for development of permanent infrastructure in the health sector.

Apart from this, many other organizations and individuals also extended their support by donating to the Relief Fund.  Nagakarthik MP, founder, Sauramandala Foundation donated 25 Oxygen Concentrators (5L), 50 Portable Concentrators and 10,000 numbers of N95 masks. Ching Tam News Manipur contributed Rs. 1,77,777; Superintendent Engineer (RED) Lairenjam Maipak Singh donated Rs. 55,234; former Minister N. Mangi Singh donated Rs. 1,10,000 and Weaver Cell Convenor, BJP Manipur Pradesh L. Sorojini Devi contributed an amount of Rs. 10,000.

Pradhan, Wangoo GP P. Baleshwor Singh and Member, Wangoo Borayangbi ZP M. Brojen Singh jointly contributed Rs. 1,10,000 while Principal, Kumbi College K. Jugeshwor Singh, National Teacher Awardee Chairman M. Mangi Singh and ex-Minister, GB Member N. Mangi Singh also jointly donated Rs. 1,10,000 to the Relief Fund.
