Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm on Saturday, seven persons tested positive while not a single person was discharged. During the same period, there were no reports of any Covid-related deaths in the state, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the seven persons from the general population who tested positive, four are from Imphal East, two from Ukhrul and one from Imphal West. Altogether, 131 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 5.3 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 39, 883 and active cases at 19.
As on October 28, 2022, 489 persons were vaccinated, bringing the total number of vaccination to 32,54,144 (1st dose 16,47,264, 2nd dose 13,33,221 and precautionary dose 2,73,659).
