Moscow: Samsung held its Galaxy Event on Wednesday, showcasing its cutting-edge Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 foldable smartphones, among other products.
“Samsung Electronics today [on Wednesday] opened the next chapter in foldable innovation with two new smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G. Both devices are premium foldable smartphones built with craftsmanship and flagship innovations,” the company said in a statement.
The smartphones are equipped with IPX84 water resistance and built with the strongest aluminum ever used in a Galaxy smartphone, the statement read, adding that both devices were put through a strenuous folding test to withstand folding 200,000 times.
Samsung is offering Galaxy Z Fold3 at the lower price of $1,799.99, and Galaxy Z Flip3 for $999.99.
The tech giant also unveiled its Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch series, bolstered with advanced hardware performance and a new more compact design, starting at $249.99 for Bluetooth versions and $299.99 for LTE models.
