New Delhi: Ukraine on Thursday called the Russia military operation a “full scale attack from multiple directions”.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dymitro Kuleba tweeted: “No, this is not a Russian invasion only in the east of Ukraine but a full-scale attack from multiple directions.”
He said the Ukrainian defence had not collapsed. “The Ukrainian Army took the fight. Ukraine stands with both feet on the ground and continues to defend itself.”
In another tweet, Kuleba asked Ukrainians around the globe to “share the truth about Putin’s invasion”. “Putin attacked but no one is running away. Army, diplomats, everyone is working.
Ukraine fights. Ukraine will defend itself. Ukraine will win. Share the truth about Putin’s invasion in your countries and call on governments to act immediately,” he said.
Meanwhile, residents in the Ukrainian city of Rivne were seen queuing up to join the armed forces. The defence establishment earlier urged residents to join the military.Â
