Shillong: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his cabinet colleagues on Thursday extended birthday greetings to Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma. Sangma’s counterparts in other parts of the country also extended their greetings to him on his birthday.
Born in Tura, the district of West Garo Hills in western part of Meghalaya, Sangma turned 44 on Thursday.
“Birthday greetings to Meghalaya’s Chief Minister Shri @SangmaConrad. Praying that he is blessed with a long and healthy life,” the Prime Minister wrote on Twitter.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also took to Twitter: “Greetings and warm wishes to the Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Shri @SangmaConrad on his birthday. May he be blessed with a long and healthy life in service of the people.”
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio also took to the micro blogging site and greeted the Meghalaya Chief Minister on his birthday.
