Varanasi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the occasion of inauguration of Kashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor on Monday said that penance of thousand of years have become fruitful after the temple premises got a new look.
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Kashi Vishwanath Dham complex.
In his brief address, Yogi expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor project a reality. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
Yogi said, “We are all fortunate that the Baba Vishwanath Dham has also removed the pain of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi in a new form today.
He said that Prime Minister Modi has fulfilled his resolve to renovate Kashi Vishwanath Dham after nearly two hundred and fifty years. He said that when Mahatma Gandhi came to Kashi before the country’s independence, after witnessing the poor condition of the temple complex, he also dreamt of renovating this supernatural place.
The Chief Minister said that many people came to power in the name of Gandhiji, but today Gandhiji’s dream of renovating the Baba Vishwanath temple is turning true.
