Imphal: A combined team of Imphal East commandos and a column of 16 Assam Rifles arrested one active member of the outlawed organization of Liberation Tigers of Tribal (LTT) from Yumnam Khunou near Awang Leikai Thongkhong, Imphal East.
The cadre has been identified as Ngamlem Lhouvum (40 years) son of Songlam Lhouvum of Maojang Village, Saikul Kangpokpi District. One 9mm pistol along with a magazine loaded with 3 live rounds seized from his possession on Saturday, as per a press note from the PRO, Manipur Police, W Basu.
The arrested person, along with the seized items was handed over to Sagolmang Police Station for further necessary action and a case has been registered at the same police station.
