Norway, US request urgent UNSC meeting on Ukraine on Monday

United Nations: Norway, the United States and a number of other UN Security Council states have requested an urgent meeting of the UNSC on the humanitarian situation in Ukraine for Monday.

“#NorwayUNSC & the US, Albania, France, the UK, Mexico, Ireland call for an urgent #SecurityCouncil meeting to address the #humanitarian crisis in #Ukraine,” the Norwegian mission to the UN tweeted.

Briefings by the UN Secretary General and UN OCHA were requested.
