Imphal: A team of Nongpok Sekmai Police Station including women police constables arrested two drug paddlers from the IVR of Chandrakhong Village foothill near Thumkhong Lairembi and seized 4 kg and 995 gram of Opium including the weight of the containers and one Honda Activa without registration No. from their possession on May 6 at around 5:40 pm.
The two persons have been identified as Nengkhokim Kipgen alias Kimboi (38 yrs), wife of Jangminthang Kipgen of N Mollen village Salam Patong, District- Kangpokpi and Mangpilun Kipgen (18 yrs) son of Jangminthang Kipgen of N Mollen village, District- Kangpokpi.
On follow up action, as disclosed by Kimboi Kipgen, two individuals namely Limjapao Kipgen (30yrs) son of Seikhokai Kipgen of Bongba Khulen, Kangpokpi District and Seiminlen Khongsai (32 yrs) son of late Thonglam Khongsai of L Molnom Village, Kangpokpi District who were coming on a white Honda Activa without Registration number was also arrested at the spot at 7:00 pm. In this regard, a case has been registered at Nongpok Sekmai Police Station for further investigation.
